The Muslim Communities Association of South Florida
Founded in 1971 · Registered in the State of Florida · A religious, educational, non-political and non-profit organization.
The Muslim Communities Association of South Florida, Inc. (MCA) is dedicated to serving the Muslim community in accordance with the teachings of the Al Qur’an Al Kareem and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Founded in 1971 and registered with the State of Florida, MCA operates as a religious, educational, non-political, and non-profit organization, devoted solely to the cause of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
MCA maintains two key Islamic Centers: the Islamic Center/Masjid at 4305 N.W. 183rd St and the Miami Mosque at 7350 N.W. 3rd St. These properties are held by the North American Islamic Trust. The MCA Board, composed of 13 dedicated members, directs the Association’s affairs, ensuring the propagation and practice of Islam within the South Florida community.

Our mission is to reach out to and facilitate every single member of our community, and to provide education that strengthens our relationship with Allah (SWT) — preserving Islamic identity while nurturing Islamic etiquette, character, and moral behavior in society.
What We Strive For
Our Objectives
- Advance the cause of Islam and Muslims in South Florida in accordance with the Qur’an al-Kareem and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
- Maintain our identity and individuality as Muslims and create an environment of peace and tranquility conducive to the practices and teachings of our religion.
- Maintain awareness of Islamic principles among Muslims and raise Islamic consciousness as a people enjoining right and forbidding wrong.
- Convey the Islamic message to Muslims and non-Muslims alike and promote friendly relations between the two.
- Establish and maintain unity among the wide diversity of Muslims residing in South Florida by providing an Islamic environment and opportunities to practice the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
- Provide opportunities for our youth to learn Islamic principles, and teach and train them to live by the Qur’an al-Kareem and Sunnah.
